TIPSY FONT
typeface design 2022
Tipsy is a modular typeface that draws inspiration from the dynamic nature and adaptability of the world. In this project, I explored how constraining my work can result in a more creative and unexpected outcome, using work from the PDU foundry and Felix Salut as a reference.
The typeface has two distinct font variations: Regular and Display. Display, characterized by its playful curves, exudes a sense of liveliness and dynamism. On the other hand, Regular presents itself as a more standardized and legible version of Display. By emphasizing straight lines and a touch of rigidity, it ensures a coherent and easily readable experience.
