Book 256 explores textures, allowing the reader to experiment with different combinations. The book has 15 chapters based on the texture’s characteristics divided into three rows. The categories are based on visual aspects of the image and are purely subjective. This structure facilitates the interactiveness of the book as textures from different types can be viewed together. Title pages are slightly longer than the texture spreads, guiding easy navigation and also serving as a tool to quickly flip from different categories.

The project itself is a reflection of my own interests as a designer. It started with me collecting 256 images and trying to analyze what visually drew me to them in the first place.
